There are two ways to transfer the FIL of the Filecoin main network to the FVM network. The easiest way is to use the centralized exchange Okx to transfer and directly withdraw FIL to the FVM network!
1. First create a FIL wallet on the FVM mainnet. At this time, get an address starting with 0x.
Open the OKx Exchange—choose to withdraw FIL—directly enter the FIL receiving address of the FVM network (address starting with 0x)—withdraw Select FIL-Filecoin on Network——Enter the withdrawal amount——Submit
It takes about 5 minutes to arrive at the account (directly to the FIL of the FVM network)
For FIL that cannot be directly withdrawn from the FVM network, currently only addresses beginning with f4 can be directly mapped from the FIL mainnet to FVM, and addresses beginning with f1 need to be transferred, as explained below.
1. Open the app—— TP wallet, switch to the Filecoin FVM network, create or import an FVM wallet address.
2. Under the Filecoin FVM network, click on the TP wallet "Discover", and enter the search address of Themis Pro official website.
3. Enter the IDO page of the Dapp, connect to the wallet, and obtain the corresponding FIL mainnet wallet address starting with f4.
4. Copy the f4 main network wallet address, and transfer the corresponding FIL mainnet coin to the f4 address. At this time, the FVM network 0x address can receive the FIL balance.
Note: You can withdraw to f4 address after purchasing from an exchange that supports withdrawal at f4 address. Currently, the exchanges that support withdrawal at f4 address on the FIL mainnet include MEXC, Bitget, and OKX.
After withdrawing the coin of the FIL mainnet to the address starting with F4, the balance can be seen at the 0x address of the FVM network.
